The Government of Pakistan has issued license and authorized us for crew Manning and Recruit/Supply of Seafarers from Pakistan to local and foreign Principals for the above, we strictly follow the IMO guidelines.

There are various choices of crew, subjected to demands and budgets of clients, type, size, flag, class and trading areas of the vessels.

After to view above facts, we maintain database system of Deck/Engine officers and rating crew, for Petroleum Tankers, Chemical Tankers, Gas Carriers, LPG Carriers, General Cargo, Containers, Bulker, RO-RO, Log, OBO and Passenger Vessels, also for Tug boats and Supply Vessels (For Offshore operations).

Seafarers are holding certificate of competency (COC) and all marine courses from the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Pakistan, Panama, Liberia, Georgia and other flag of convenient with required endorsement as per type of vessel and all other certificates and documents required onboard the vessels.

Our aim is to Mann vessels, provide services and recruit/supply of qualified, experienced, competent, hardworking, obedient, professional, well manner and highly sober (well versed in English writing and speaking and up to date computer literacy) Deck and Engine officers and Rating crew as per demand and requirements of ship Owners/Managers

AFMS is also listed in the list of approved manning agents of Pakistan from Ministry of Maritime Affairs.

AFMS has developed an ever expanding and upgrading databank of all officers & crew, who are and have been working with us including ones who had ever applied for a job. Full details of any officer & crew, who have visited our office, can be recalled by a simple touch of a button, right from the time of their training period through to their present ranks.

AFMS boasts of experienced senior mariners with long experience in ship management, crew handling. New applicants are interviewed and vetted by our experienced master mariners and chief engineers and upon satisfactory approval he will qualify to be proposed to our clients according to their requirements & AFMS is one of the best manning agents/crew managers/crewing agents in Pakistan.

AFMS also owns a seafarer training institute which is also approved by Ministry of Maritime Affairs of Pakistan named Andros Marine Institute and is also associated with several other training institutes in Pakistan and abroad where various courses are arranged including STCW requirements, marine environmental and pollution course, command control course, ship security course among others.

The senior officers on our books are fully cognizant with ISM code, ISPS code, PSC inspection requirements, flag state inspection requirements and various other safety and marine environmental protection management systems which are now a part and parcel of the shipping industry, formulated and implemented to improve the working conditions, safety culture and protect the environment against the pollution.

OUR SERVICES

Crewing Agency / Manning Agency / Crew Managers

Recruitment of officers, engineers and crew members as per our Principal’s needs and trade pattern of their vessels.

We also verify the ability of seafarer’s competence and service record from the previously served companies.

Ensuring that their certification, qualification, competency and training meets the requirements of latest STCW conventions and that they are fully qualified, certified, experienced and very well conversant in the position and rank they are hired.

Thorough medical examination including ECG, Ultrasound, Blood and Urine Analysis, Drug and Alcohol testing by an certified laboratory, recommended by the company medical officer.

We ensure that seafarers must have valid documents before they leave their homeport to join any vessel.

Arrangement of visas, Ok to board and / or any other requirement, via prompt communication with the local shipping agents of the vessel which may be demanded by the local immigration authorities, for the joining crew, where required.

Government Shipping Office sign/on and sign/off formalities including obtaining, of “No Objection Certificates”, articles of agreement, in order that the proposed officer can exit his country of origin without hindrance.

Arrangement of fast, cheapest and most direct flight schedules, through reliable travel agencies, for the joining of all our officers, at the desired destination.
